Happy Easter

I've been trying to think of something to write about, but can think of nothing. I am quite the bore.

I have days where I think "wow", this is happening. I am 15w5d today. This is the first holiday ever that I've been pregnant.

We had some friends over for Easter dinner. I decided I wanted to make devilled eggs. I am a reasonably good cook, but damn, boiling eggs became an ordeal. Took two tries @@. But the eggs did turn out good in the end.

Hope that everyone had a good, or at least tolerable, Easter.

Well, you have to go the Alton Brown way. I always screwed mine up until I tried it: Cover with water, bring to boil, boil for 12 minutes. Cool with cold water.

Okay, you probably knew that.

But yay! 15 weeks. Good for you.

Take care.

It also helps if the eggs are not too fresh (I know that sounds awful) but if they are closer to the expired date (obviously not past) they peel MUCH more easily.

(Ironic advice from an IVF girl . . . old eggs are better for something . . . how about that! LOL)

Odd tip but it seems to work from what I can tell.
